Titus Jensen fell in love with Julie Quinn at university. He confessed his feelings, and they got together. However, after eight years of dating, Julie was still involved with her male friend, Hugo Zabel. Titus and Julie argued about this many times. Finally, on the day of his proposal, when Julie was once again called away by Hugo, Titus gave up. He decided to stop focusing on Julie and instead turned that energy back onto himself.
